Stampsound.com was born out of frustration. My own frustration with online resources that simply don’t give a basic answer to a simple question.
I have been in the music industry for over 30 years now and extensively toured many major countries with various bands of all shapes and sizes!
I simply fell in love with music and writing about all the subjects I have collected knowledge on.
Stampsound is an excellent place to pass on my knowledge and keep up to date with the latest technology and bands!
I love blogging and have previously owned other websites but music and this website is my passion.
I just enjoy writing content that others may find helpful! It’s my work energy!
In the wonderful world of music production, there is a lot of technical jargon that people like to use, this can at times be very misleading and unhelpful to someone looking to learn basic lessons such as tuning an Electric Guitar for the first time or wanting a simple set up guide for a PA System.
I’m certified with https://gb.abrsm.org/en/ and hold qualifications in music theory.
I have tried to write all my articles in an easy-to-understand manner, so as not to confuse the reader with non-helpful material.
Having been in the Music Industry for over 30 years I wanted to share some of my advice with both beginner and experienced musicians alike in bands and small groups all over the world.
Music is the only universal language and the more knowledge we all have, the more we can share
our sounds around the world.
Never be afraid to ask what you may consider a “stupid” question. They have all been asked a million times. On this website, my aim is to answer as many of them as possible in a straightforward way.
I’m currently based in England in the UK where I live with my wife and 5 children and in my spare time enjoy playing flugelhorn with a championship section band in York.
Not that I get much free time with 5 children!
Thanks for stopping by and good luck with your music-making.
